Academy Description
Salt Lake Community College is an authorized satellite academy of POST that provides identical training. The academy is administered through the community college and all training takes place in the Public Safety Education & Training Center, (410 West 9800 South, Sandy, UT 84070) in the evening. Our offices are located on the second floor in room 270. We offer the Special Function Officer (SFO) and Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) certification with college credit. Financial aid is available.
Academy Schedule
SFO training block meets Monday thru Thursday (5:30pm to 9:30pm) and Saturday mornings.
LEO training block meets Monday thru Friday (5:30pm to 9:30pm) and all day Saturday.
