Accident Investigation – Total Station Diagramming
Description:
This class will address familiarizing personnel with equipment, the basic elements of crash/crime scene evidence documentation through data point collection, and preparing/finalizing a scale diagram. All law enforcement agencies are welcome.
Required equipment and materials include: (Per section or department) Total Station head, tripod, prism, reflector pole, batteries, chargers, measuring tape, evidence markers, and other related equipment. (Each student) bring a laptop computer for download, manipulation, and finishing the diagrams, a pen and paper. (Cold weather gear/sun protection as needed)
Student Notes:
This training is open to all agencies. Class size is limited to 20 students.
