Peace Officer Standards and Training

Online Course Registration

Online Course Overview

Utah POST offers online courses for active peace officers. Completion of this training is automatically added to the officer’s training record and counts towards the legislative requirements for continuing certification outlined in UCA 53-6-202. The steps below demonstrate how agencies can register individuals for online training in the Utah Acadis Online Portal.

*Online training can only be used for current-year requirements. The date the officer completes the training will be the year it is credited. Online training cannot be used to backdate delinquent training from the prior year. Those who do not complete the training by June 30th of each year will be automatically unenrolled.

The following steps demonstrate how to filter the registration page only to show online courses. Note: to view other courses, be sure to clear the filter by selecting “Clear Filters” in the top, right-hand corner of the “Available Training” page.
